Dual clocks for Wairakei Golf Sanctuary

We recently installed two outdoor clocks at Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary.

A particularly special project given Wairakei’s unique status as both a world-class golf course & a protected wildlife sanctuary.

While on site, we encountered free-roaming fallow deer, native falcons, and other wildlife thriving within the sanctuary’s 5.5-kilometre predator-proof fence.

Wairakei held their emblem & branding as important factors & selected the full branding package we offer. This included 2D design concepts with their branding in a range of colours & finishes, to match the black Powder Coated double clock stand.

They eventually settled on a clean white clock with prominent lettering and the emblem placed above.

Time-telling with GPS

These two clocks are connected through GPS.

This is part of a new upgrade mechanism package - the best in the industry.

This ensures the time updates with Daylight Saving adjustments automatically.

This product is completely built in Auckland by Paceracer. Hand-built using in-house tooling, hand presses, painting processes, structural welding, and full assembly ensuring every detail of the design intent is met.

The Paceracer outdoor clock received recognition in the 2024 Best Design Awards as a design finalist.
